Repair Services
Our team is dedicated to meeting the exact needs of your fireplace, and we offer a variety of different services and solutions to the most common issues homeowners may experience with their fireplaces:
- Pilot Not Lighting: There are a variety of different reasons a pilot may not light depending on the system. Millivolt systems may experience this issue due to a gas supply issue, a bad electrode, an electrode positioning error, or a bad sparker. Intermittent Pilot Ignition systems may experience this, in addition to the aforementioned reasons, due to a bad electrical supply, control module, or switch.
- Pilot Lighting But Does Not Hold (Stay Lit): A pilot not staying lit is more often experienced by millivolt systems than IPI. The underlying cause of the issue is typically a bad thermocouple or magnet in the gas block. IPI users may experience this issue due to a bad flame detector rod or control module.
- Pilot Holds (Stays Lit) But Burner Does Not Come On: The burner not coming on is significant of a few issues. On a millivolt system, it may be indicative of a bad thermopile, magnet in the gas block, or thermostat if one is present. Intermittent pilot ignition systems may experience this due to a bad flame detector rod, or control module.
- Burner Comes on But Drops: A burner coming on but dropping after some amount of time is one of the most technical issues a fireplace may experience. There is a broad range of reasons a fireplace may have this issue included but not limited to, for both IPI and millivolt, bad venting; individual component failure, or multiple component failures; amongst many others.
